Cranston Police Claim that Warwick Man Staged RI Car Accident

A Warwick Rhode Island resident was recently charged with staging a Car accident with a Truck on Park Avenue in Cranston. The Warwick Man asserted to police that a black cat darted in front of his  motor vehicle causing him to slam on his breaks. However, witnesses to this RI Auto accident had very different accounts. Witnesses claimed that there was no black cat and that the man “tensed up” and appeared to “brace himself.”  The man was charged with a moving violation as well as reckless driving.
